<p>Hip hop clothing continues to gain in popularity all over the world, so many hip hop artists and executives have decided to create their own clothing lines. Popular brands like Sean John, House of <a target="_blank" href="http://johnjohnsaidit.com/top-urban-and-hip-hop-clothing-brands-made-by-top-hip-hop-executives/">Dereon</a>, Apple Bottoms, and Rocawear were all started by some of the most famous entertainers and artists today. </p>
<p>Sean Jean clothing is a line founded by Sean &#34;Diddy&#34; Combs in 1998. It won the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Award for Menswear Designer of the Year in 2000 and 2004. Apart from Combs, other celebrities that have endorsed the line include rappers like T.I., Fabolous, The Game, and Daddy Yankee. Basketball stars Dwayne Wade and Tristan Sooklal along with models Tyson Beckford and Kevin Navanye also represented the brand. Combs also launched a men&#39;s perfume under the Sean John brand called &#34;I Am King&#34;. </p>

<p>Q-Tip has reassured fans that the 7th Brooklyn Hip Hop festival is still on track after a twitter release stating that he might not make it caused a uproar. He reassured the fans by naming the new confirmed performers for the festival which will be held from July 11th to 16th. <br />
The hip hop festival is a huge crowd puller and every edition has seen around 20000 fans trooping in to celebrate the hip hop culture and music. <br />
This year&#39;s lineup includes Q-Tip, Mista Sinista, Dj Evil Dee, Lords of the Underground, The artifacts, Diamond district and Roli Rho among others. This year the headlining event at the hip hop festival will be by the Queens producer QTip. <br />
The organizers of the Brooklyn hip hop festival this year are the Brooklyn Bodega are working with QTip to design the creative concepts of this year&#39;s event. This also includes showcasing a movie on his work in the past 20 years. <br />
QTip was chosen by the organizers because of his portrayal of the hip hop legacy as an agent of artistic freedom and social change. <br />

<p>Givenchy&#39;s fall-winter 2011-12 ready-to-wear collection by designer Riccardo Tisci was clearly inspired by hip hop wear. Tisci&#39;s respect for street wear and his ability to mix styles fresh off the streets of Paris, Tokyo, Cairo and Rio into the world of high fashion has helped him become one of the most acclaimed designers of the day. </p>
<p>In his latest collection, ultra short, flippy skirts in fur or black satin were attached to sheer, tight pencil <a target="_blank" href="http://www.google.com/hostednews/canadianpress/article/ALeqM5ioHmEDcrwRBKBwRMPJL_8gr9bYyA?docId=6163522">skirts</a>. A-line skirts had much longer translucent underskirts, through which the model&#39;s opaque, thigh-high stockings showed. This was the lady&#39;s version of Tisci&#39;s snarling rottweiler-covered menswear collection, from the sweatshirts to the leather lettermen jackets down to the oversized fur-covered glasses which appeared on both runways. The glossy invitations were printed with a black panther on one side and orchids on the other,and the runway show featured the overpowering odor of hothouse flowers and the menacing growl of a panther on the soundtrack. </p>
